Sunday 27th was the first day of Advent and the street markets in Berlin were busy, with people buying presents and trees, plus a glass of gluhwein and a sausage or two.

Such atmospheric shots, Debs! But it’s not Advent until tomorrow? Or is it?

For our advent calendars it’s tomorrow but for the church it started on Sunday – allowing 4 Sundays before Christmas Day.

I love both those shots. As Becky says – good to have a quiet corner too at this kind of event.

Hope you bought a sausage or two too – looks fun, and I love that there are quiet corners to observe all the happenings

It was quite busy inside etch Christmas markets, but not too bad. And plenty of quiet spots elsewhere. Yes, I enjoyed the curry wurst, plus the odd winter brew of beer and a warming gluhwein
