Brrrr…. There’s just something excruciatingly cold about frozen ponds and lakes. Beautiful photos!

Finally we got a dusting of snow last night! The weather has been unseasonably warm so far.

I especially like the way you set up the last shot. I’m going with a photo from our past life in Illinois.

Well nothing says “cold” like a frozen pond. Nice captures.

Yesterday it was still not that cold but we woke up to a thin layer of snow, less than a centimeter I think. Definitely NOT as cold as your photos suggest. I thought it would be important to be able to tell what weather we are having with more accuracy, hence: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/12/11/weather-station/

We are having a very cold spell – the arctic weather is being sent directly to us between 2 high pressures. The local lake is frozen solid

I don’t blame you for staying inside. Though I have to say yesterday was beautiful in the sun. Not so today!

That middle photo in particular is the very essence of ‘cold’.

Cold as ice! Here we got a bit milder today, only -5 degrees and a new layer of snow turning the world white. 🙂
