Christmas preparations in St Albans, Hertfordshire, December 2023

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Ohhh … can I borrow your photo of the drink? (including your name, of course). I have a friend who’s nickname is Squirrel and she’s as mad as a hatter. I didn’t know they had drink with that name! Is it fairly well known in the UK?

That first one took the job seriously. I’m glad yarn bombing is alive and well down your way too. Happy Christmas!

They certainly are Christmas folk at St Albans, fabulous decorations.
Not many Christmas lights or decorations in the bush. I don’t count the bloke next doors Christmas tree made from a pallet and painted red with things stuck on it.
So went the other way up the street to see if anyone up there had any decorations. I stopped and asked if there were any around
