Inside Chiesa Madre, Nuova Gibellina, Sicily, June 2022
I have featured this image before but had to share it once more as it is perfect for our look at geometry this January. I loved the minimalism of this part of the church with its straight lines and open space, plus the positioning that allowed that small cross to pop up through a hole in the wall.

Thanks Becky. On that trip I was actually shooting squares only. I must do that more often.

Dear Debbie, I really love your photographical looking way/style. I haven’t seen this photograph that you shared before. But in this one, I can say, so impressive, yes, exactly a challenge for square/geometry but there is more than this. This is an art, fascinated me. Thank you, Have a nice day, Love, nia

Many thanks, Nia
On this trip to Sicily I decided to focus on shooting square format, and really enjoyed it. I think composing as a square in camera really makes you focus on what you’re including and excluding. And, of course, it gives me photos just waiting to feature in Becky’s Square challenges 🙂
