Was a student residence for a while (Baird Hall for Strathclyde) – much more attractive than the brick boxes they get now!

I think it’s always been like this. It’s a listed building now and I think they’ve tried to keep it like the original.
it was the tallest building in Glasgow when built and is sometimes referred to as Glasgow’s first skyscraper! Not something you’d think of these days.
