He was enjoying his lollipop and looks quite relaxed. But there’s no getting away from the fact that life in Cuba is hard – and has got a lot harder since I got back (not because I’m back though!)

A story in one photo, that it is. It makes you wonder: is it safe inside, or does he want to go out? Thank you for sharing this beautiful image, Debbie.

He’s back from school and probably enjoying the last of the light as the sun goes down and the regular power cut hits

It is a wonderful photo Debbie. Was it a posed one or total accident that he appeared?
Here’s my effort

Accident. I think the residents spend a lot of time looking out the windows.

I would as well. Just heard a news story about Cuba. Could call this one “Looking for a better life”

A very good title, Brian. I’ve been watching Cuba closely since I got back and am worried about what will happen next. The public are beginning to speak up against the government – desperation is overcoming trained obedience.

There’s not much on the news about Cuba here unless I watch news from overseas channels
