Garden of Hotel Puro Stare Miast, Wroclaw, Poland, May 2026
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS. You’ll find me on Instagram @travel_travel_with_intent and @dsmythphoto

Indeed. The weather wasn’t great in Poland when I was there in May.

That is a shame, May was usually a good month for my holidays

One kind of artificial flowers I actually like. I do have artificial flowers in my house, to brighten up dark corners where no decent houseplant would live, but they’re a stop-gap. But these glass ones are lovely. Nevertheless, here is my answer: https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2026/08/08/short-blooming-poppies-in-the-field/

Ever-blooming poppies perfectly crafted in glass. There’s something about that Polish garden that makes the artificial feel more alive than the real thing, doesn’t it?
The poppies suspended in that moment, that Hotel Puro garden in Wrocław they have a permanence that living flowers can never quite achieve. I love how you’ve positioned this photograph as the quiet center of the challenge. Six words, or many more what matters is the showing up, the telling.
Love post ! Keep doing it
