The Eiffel Tower is a challenge to photograph – it has been done so many times before.
I like this jaunty angle, but a bit of post-processing has jazzed it up too. In the sequence above, number 1 has the colours inverted, number 2 has some added “zoom” effect, whilst number 3 is the original.

Uh, what? Oh, the tower. Makes me giddy!! 🙂

If this is a post for City Daily Photos November Theme Day, why don’t you post it as such?!

A great perspective and vantage point. I love the feeling of vertigo you created in the second shot. Visiting you from City Daily Photo today.

Nice pics but are you a member of City Daily Photo? You linked this to the CDP Theme Day page but it doesn’t look like you have a daily photo site of ONE city which is actually what the CDP community is about…

I’ve been joining the theme day for months – I didn’t realise it was restricted.

LOVE these – never saw the tower from this view – love it a lot (and jaunty was a great adj.)

Very inventive and beautiful! And that from a Frenchman! Mind you, I’m from Bourgogne, not Paris! LOL

Nice angle. I shot the tower replica in Las Vegas last year and was going to post it but changed my mind just because, as you say, it has been done so many times before. But then, so has almost everything else. So maybe I’ll take a shot at it. I like yours, though. haven’t ever seen this angle on it, especially with the colors inverted!
