Ljubljana Castle From Below

-Look Up, Look Down Challenge, Week 63

Every Thursday, I publish a post containing photo(s) taken from above or below, and invite you to join in the challenge by posting your own photos with an up or down perspective.

**************************************************************************************

My views this week are gazing up at Ljubljana Castle.  Next week, I’ll take you to the top, but for now, let’s enjoy the views from town.

There is so much to look at down below that you may not always notice the castle, but it is visible from many angles.

I’ll finish with a close up of the tower from the castle area itself.

  1. Years ago I visited this town…how could I have missed this castle? Or forgotten? Interesting perspective shots…especially the second last.

  2. This beautiful castle is much higher than Ljubjana (I stumbled with the spelling!) itself – I wonder what the reason was (in the past much of the town would be employed by the owners of the castle…).
Whenever you visit me next time, may I ask a favor? It sounds kind of dumb, but I have a new theme on my blog, but please let me know “where” (location) the place is people can comment.
(keep wondering, because I received a few comments on my email, but they’re not added to my comments for some reason…) Thanks in advance!
