Earlier this week, I was in Copenhagen briefly. I was staying near the station and every time I headed into town, I skirted Tivoli Gardens. I didn’t have the time to visit, but I did get some tantalising views of the rides over the walls of this famous and historical amusement park; it opened in August 1843 and is the second oldest amusement park in the world.
