Dubrovnik is stunningly beautiful.
Any visitor simply has to walk the old walls, with their magnificent views of the town and the sea, and little insights into the damage caused by war.
A lingering memory for me is of the striking orange rooftops.
And one last photo to go with the orange theme:

What month were you there, Debbie?

I was there in August 2012. The city was more beautiful than I expected even, and gave me a real appetite to see more of the country.

August is the hottest month of the year. I would have suggested April or May when it is more comfy to climb the walls and less touristy. Debbie, I am happy you have such wonderful memories of it.
