I didn’t give up on my search for a good cup of coffee while I was in France last week. The Cafe-Club was a great find: a tiny shop on a busy street at the bottom of the Panier district. I was there fairly early, just as the local shops were opening, and all of the other customers were locals on their way to work.
Good coffee at a good price: I had a tasty macchiato for just 1€ (same price for espresso, latte or a regular tea, 2€ for a large americano). Not the place for a leisurely coffee at this time in the morning, but good for a quick seat with the locals.
Cafe-Club, Rue Caisserie, Marseille

Coffees there are cheaper than in Greece! As a coffee lover, would appreciate this , hahaha!

OK… I don’t see any cake to go with this. Not even a sticky bun. Explain yourself…?!

Sorry, I’m slacking I know! I just didn’t really find cakes. Biscuits yes, ice cream yes, but cakes no! I’ll do another cake post soon, I promise!
