Whenever people (here in Spain) ask me what I miss most about London I tell them the food. That earns me an incredulous stare every time. Except this once, a few weeks ago, when I met up with a Brazilian guy who’d been living in London for six years. We reminisced for ages …OK, it was more like swooning…
I hate supermarkets in Spain, I hate them. I want Waitrose!!!!

I know what you mean, the Spanish ones are very utilitarian. But I do like the grumpy old ladies in their wellies at the fish counters.
