London has a new bus, launched at the end of 2012 and inspired by the iconic Routemaster with its open rear platform.

This modern bus is sleek in design with sexy curves and plenty of glass to highlight the two staircases.  The open rear platform allows a hop on / hop off service and is watched over by a conductor to ensure the safety of the passengers.  At quiet times the bus is conductorless and automatic doors close off the platform.

If you want to try it out, take route 24 which travels from Pimlico, through Victoria, Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square, up Tottenham Court Road and on to Camden, terminating at  Hampstead Heath.
