I am a fan of Cow Parade and similar public art displays.
The cow below is one of my favourites, decked out in blue, white and yellow, so typical of Portuguese azulejos or ceramic tiles.
These other cows, also from the 2006 parade in Lisbon, look similarly good in blue and yellow.

Now these are the most fun yellow and blues. I simply adore them!!!

Love them… especially the one with egg on its back! They remind me of the bears in Berlin.
A few years ago, I was in Worms and they had random dragons standing everywhere. I never did figure out why, but they were very cool. You can see one of them in this post: http://confuzzledom.wordpress.com/2012/10/28/worms-not-the-squishy-wiggly-kind-2/

Lovely pieces of artwork! Think I definitely like the egg covered cow the most.

Haha I really like the cow with the egg on top too! Do you know why it was like that?

I’ve seen the cow parade in Lisbon in 2006 and as far as I remember each cow had a sponsor (the cow on the thrid pic was sponsored by Ben & Jerry’s). The cow with the egg was sponsored by a restaurant in Lisbon which is decorated with the blue&white tiles and -apparently- serves eggs. 🙂

It was sponsored by Portugalia, a well known cerveceria which is decorated with these azulejos and is proud of its steak with egg.
