“This city now doth, like a garment, wear the beauty of the morning; silent bare, ships, towers, domes, theatres and temples lie open unto the fields and to the sky; All bright and glittering in the smokeless air.”
– William Wordsworth
This view of Lisbon, over rooftops and down to the water, certainly paints a picture to match Wordsworth’s lyrical words.

This is absolutely gorgeous! The photo and the words you’ ve chosen. My own memories from Lisbon are very much connected to January rains and mists but still beautiful. 🙂

I always thought it very poetic that Wordworth’s name was Wordsworth.
