I have a special Thanksgiving post for this week’s Lingering Look at Windows.
This Parisian shop caters for anyone who yearns for a little taste of home.
What do you miss most when you are away from home?

Whoa, those are *huge* bottles of Tabasco sauce! We have a tiny one, and it’s lasted for quite some time 🙂
I love the detail on that window, and the great windows reflected in it! Great captures all around – thanks for sharing them with us!

I can’t imagine ever missing pop tarts… or kraft dinner… or stovetop stuffing. not when so many other better foods are available! It is an interesting window view of foreign foods in foreign lands.

I agree with Lorik the Aussie and Kiwi in me says Vegemite but the Yorkshire lass definitely says Yorkshire pud dripping with gravy…

I love window shopping, but how can anyone miss Pop Tarts?????
I don’t think I miss anything when I’m away from home, which probably means I’m not away long enough. But a good roast dinner – beef, Yorkshire Pudding and horseradish sauce – is always welcome 🙂

English bread for toasting, probably 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, other bread doesn’t really do the job! Though I’m usually content with the native bread. I do struggle if I can’t get a passable cup of tea. I wouldn’t say I miss anything else, but then I’ve never been away for more than a month at a time.
