Cupid and his arrow have been hard at work in this piece by Brazilian street artist Cranio.
Cranio, real name Fabio Oliveira, was born in 1982 and grew up in the north of Sao Paulo. He started his street art in 1998 in his home town and his works can now be found all over the world.
These cute pigs appeared on Shoreditch’s Rivington Street in 2013 and are still there (Feb 2014).

I adore Mrs. Piggy’s hooped earring and red lippy.

Cranio’s most recognisable figures, however, are colourful Native Indians. These were born out of Cranio’s desire to find a character that could show the indigenous people from Brazil, and they have developed into a veritable family of Indians around the world. The saintly example below predates the amorous pigs
