R is for… Rubber Stamps

DSC04164

For those with an artistic bent, and particularly for fans of scrapbooking, here’s my latest craft shop find in the heart of London, just a few steps from the British Museum.

It has one of the biggest selections of stamps I’ve ever seen, and also runs workshops on how to use them and even how to make your own.

A London-themed one would make the perfect souvenir or an unusual gift for any loved ones who enjoy crafting.

And here are a few options for the photographer in your life:

If you have time, you can make a custom order:

They also do the boring but useful office type.  If you can’t get there in person, you can shop online.

  1. I also walked by there and marveled at the art. Seems of the times I went I just didn’t have a moment to spare, or my traveling friend did not.

  2. I don’t use them much, but do enjoy looking at them! So much detail on some of them! Love the red telephone booth!

  3. In the days before blogging (DBB) I used to make cards, scrapbook, paint all those crafty things and I have quite a collection of rubber stamps languishing in a drawer… 😦

      • Yes I know what you mean I still go to the craft fairs and always end up buying just one (or 2 or….) more thing. Trouble is I can never remember how to use them a year or two later…
