In the main tourist hotspots of Venice, the crowds move at a snail’s pace. I simply hate walking slowly, so it was with immense joy that I discovered that I only needed to step a few yards away to find quiet streets undisturbed by the hordes of tourists.
Then up popped this pink confection to remind me of what I was missing.
