The red lettering of the Oxo Tower always stands out at night. It’s even better to be inside though – there is a good bar and restaurant at the top with lovely views across the river and a pleasant terrace to enjoy in good weather.

Pick a clear day and do that and the Shard. They aren’t far apart and I’m sure you can manage a drink at each bar 🙂 Just take the lift up each, saying you’re going to the bar and away you go!
