This is the first in a short series featuring images of Venice’s beautiful windows. Their varied shapes and sizes, their coloured and flaking surrounds, their wrought iron grilles, all seem to help capture the essence of Venice, and say “welcome”.

So you’re in Venice? It’s still too hot for me to get out and take photos. When I finally do I’ll let you know. Then if you’re still interested, we’ll see what we come up with!
