Twinkling Edinburgh

View from Edinburgh Castle

I first came to Edinburgh with my parents in the mid-70s, en route further north.  We stayed near what was then a very small airport and the romance of travel made an impact on me.  I visited again as a student in the early 80s and had a brief romantic fling with a fellow student.  Now, I visit whenever I have the chance and it’s the city that provides the romance.  It is a stunning place that is looking its very best just now with twinkling lights, crisp winter air and low golden sun.

Linked to B&W Sunday.
