Edinburgh at Christmas

-Look Up, Look Down Challenge, Week 70

Every Thursday, I publish a post containing photo(s) taken from above or below, and invite you to join in the challenge by posting your own photos with an up or down perspective.

This week we’re at the Christmas market and fair in Edinburgh, just off Princes Street.

This looked great fun, but there were extremely long queues to ride it.  The same was true of the big wheel. which I’m sure would have given great views across the city.  I couldn’t face queuing, so I shuffled my way through the crowds, avoiding the temptation of mulled wine, and clambered up to the castle instead.

It’s always worth the climb to get these views.

  1. I’m so sorry I didn’t noticed you weren’t in my reader. I came here by way of Jo’s page and it gave me the option to follow you. When, I want to know, did I unfollow you? It was never intentional. I’m glad to be back. Merry Christmas.
