The rooftop bar at the Ace Hotel in downtown LA, has become an instant success. I’m glad I went up there the afternoon I arrived, as I arrived before the throngs and was able to have a relaxing drink and snack and take in the wonderful views.
I did try to visit a couple more times during my stay but I could barely get out of the lift, let alone get to the bar! It was Valentines and Presidents Day weekend, so that may have partly explained the crush.
If you want to be one of the cool and trendy, this bar is a must. If you just want a good drink with great views, this bar is a must – just visit before the evening crowds turn up.
