I do like playing with long exposures. Dawn in Venice brings the opportunity to capture some rare peaceful moments in this city of tourists. But as a fresh day dawns, many of the residents are already hard at work and innocently able to provide some blurred motion for a few of my shots.
And doesn’t dawn look great in black and white!

Debbie – the lights in both add much 0p that little flicker to the left in the top one and then all that is going on in the bottom one – and to hear that it is dawn… adds more. I bet you love taking photos on your trips to Venice – and I love seeing them…
