When I arrived in Salzburg last week, the weather was glorious: the sun was shining, the spring colours shone with vibrance and it was positively hot.
The next morning, I awoke eager to get out and about but the clouds had descended and enveloped the surrounding mountains.
No more snowy mountains to gaze at!
However, this was the day I had some spare time, so, undeterred, I ventured up to the castle:

Wow, what a difference! In the second I never would have known there were mountains in the distance. Glad you made your way to the castle anyway 🙂

Salzburg is a nice place to visit. Did this some years ago!
