Daisies in Hyde Park

It’s the start of a new month in the One Four photo edit challenge, and time to choose a new image.  After much deliberation, I’ve gone for something a bit different for me – flowers.

I came across these flowers on a walk in Hyde Park on a very hot and very sunny evening.  The low, bright sun was both a delight and a challenge.

This month, I am going to start with a highly edited, artistic version of the original.  You will have to wait till next week to get an idea of what the original shot looked like.

I made a few basic edits in Lightroom, then used FotoSketcher to give a  pencil sketch effect.  I hope this has whetted your appetite  – see you next week.

  1. I have to delve more deeply into fotosketcher. I love what you’ve done here but it’s hard to say which week’s version I like the best. I’ll wait till next week to make my mind up! 🙂 Great work!

  2. I’m not really a fan of the super bright white hi key effect myself, so I look forward to your other variations 😜

  3. Fabulous! I love images like this and I really like that you started out with an artistic version. I know I’m going to enjoy this one 😀
