The bookshop in the British Library is a great place to browse and purchase. There’s a wide selection of both fiction and non-fiction, and always something a bit different, including some great guides to London.
I am particularly fond of their vintage crime classics series, actually published by the British Library (photo above). The library’s recent collection features some old but wonderful British crime fiction, books that had not been readily available for many a year.

If you’re a 007 fan, there is a great vintage series of the Fleming books, published by Random House, and also available at the British Library shop

It’s been a while since “crime” was my genre, but these pretty covers look so tempting.

It has never really been mine but the history and interesting summaries given have tempted me. I’m reading a collection of short stories at the moment and am enjoying it.

I’ve listened to a couple of the class crime series as audio books. In fact, I’m listening to one now: The Santa Klaus Murder by Mavis Doriel Hay. I am enjoying.
