Across to Cramond Island

This causeway leads across the Drum Sands to the tidal island, Cramond, about one mile out in the Forth.  The path is only accessible at low tide; always check the timings unless you fancy getting stranded on the small island.

  1. An exotic leading line, Debs. I would have loved to walk on this causeway. Did you have a guide or you ventured there by yourself? Beautiful composed with abundance of texture 🙂

    1. I walked it with a friend who was in a big hurry so I didn’t have as long as I’d have liked for taking photos. I was fitting in things I’d always wanted to do in case I couldn’t do them after my operation! It is now on my list of places to return to soon. The views are delightful and it’s a great walk.
