
This causeway leads across the Drum Sands to the tidal island, Cramond, about one mile out in the Forth. The path is only accessible at low tide; always check the timings unless you fancy getting stranded on the small island.

An exotic leading line, Debs. I would have loved to walk on this causeway. Did you have a guide or you ventured there by yourself? Beautiful composed with abundance of texture 🙂

I walked it with a friend who was in a big hurry so I didn’t have as long as I’d have liked for taking photos. I was fitting in things I’d always wanted to do in case I couldn’t do them after my operation! It is now on my list of places to return to soon. The views are delightful and it’s a great walk.
