Not as far north as we probably think. 59 latitude, so roughly same as Orkney Islands, Anchorage and St Petersburg!

They’ve had a very short and mild winter by their standards. I was back this week and there was very little ice – I had hoped it would be solid enough for a walk if not a skate!

Actually it could be divided into two definite photos: the sunny city onmthe background and the romantic boat and shrubs just in front!

It’s a fantastic spot for a view – bit tricky up there in the ice though
