Lustrous London, October 2014

A colourful note:  the colour silver is a shade of grey that is trying to replicate the colour of polished silver.  The metallic shine cannot really be reproduced in a crayon, though, as the shiny effect is due to the contrast between the metal’s surface and the angle of the light source.
A trivial pursuit: what does silver have in common with orange, purple and turquoise?
Well, silver and these three other colour names, all lack a rhyming word!
