Cheerful beach huts in Broadstairs, February 2016
Hex colour reference: #fc89ac
A colourful note: Crayola’s tickle me pink shade was named by 12 year old Sam Marcus in the 1992 naming competition. He had drawn small facial expressions to correspond with each crayon open for naming. According to Huffpost, his “laughter” face was colored pink because he’d blush when someone tickled him as a kid.
It’s a phrase I’m fond of, so I have to approve of this competition winner.

Part of Pink Saturday

Not how I would imagine February 😀 Tickle me pink is a seductive colour, colour that makes me dream of summer. Great shot!

Never thought I’d go to a beach and ignore the women; take photos of the beach huts. But here I sit, thinking I would do just that. (Plus my wife would never get jealous of beach huts. Women in bikinis? Might be a problem.) I love this!
