To see, or not to see…
These six words are, of course, inspired by the famous April birthday boy:
“To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them.”
-from The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark by
William Shakespeare (23 Apr 1564 – 23 Apr 1616)
It seems that this woman peering from the wall in LA, is one of many pieces of great, somewhat wrinkly artwork, by street artist JR. Head over here to take a look at some of his stunning projects.

Reminds me of Yoko Ono although it’s not her.

This reminds me of a series of murals here in Berlin. I bet they are from the same artist.

Thank you very much! I wish I’d seen those pieces in Berlin. And I see now that he did some wonderful work in Istanbul, just after my visit last year.

Photo realism murals really appeal to me. It’s not often you see older people featured in murals at all. Happy birthday to Will. 400+ years and still going strong. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.

Downtown, but I don’t remember exactly.
