I was talking about St Albans with a friend the other day….sounds like an interesting place. I must have been when I was quite young, because I remember we visited Roman Verulamium, which has probably been much more excavated since then…..
Yes, it’s a great city to visit – a nice museum, extensive Roman remains, impressive Cathedral and a pretty setting. And if you ever fancy coming over, just say – I would be delighted to show you around
