Princess Pier, Torquay, July 2016
This lengthy pier in Torquay was popular with the local Dame of Crime, Agatha Christie. It was built in the year she was born (1890) and became a regular haunt for her and her friends, all armed with roller skates.

I love the idea of a young Agatha roller skating down here. That little tidbit adds an extra bit of color to an already neat perspective.
