West Pier, Brighton, September 2016
Behind us hovers the i360 viewing tower, but my eyes always lure me back to this wonderful pier, still beautiful in its state of extreme disrepair.

I used to live in Brighton for years and this pier always fascinated me as more of it slipped into the sea. Great shot. #MySundayPhoto

Gorgeous. It almost looks like a modern sculpture piece

I hadn’t thought of that. But I see what you mean. It can certainly provide inspiration to anyone looking at it.

It’s a great contrast to the other pier in town which is a busy place – typical British pier

I love this photo, it captures the end of something but with the waves nothing really ends just recycles #MySundayPhoto

A great positive message This derelict pie is loved by many people. Perhaps hoping they can age in just as stately a manner.

Thank you! I still enjoy looking at it. But not sure how much longer it can last without help

I remember when hippies used to sit under the remains every Sunday afternoon and play drums! As you can see, there are no remains to sit under these days. Very dramatic picture. You caught the wave at just the correct moment. #MySUndayPhoto
