Capten Haddock (don’t know his English name) is my favourite figure in Tintin. I didn’t know his dogs name was Snowy in English, we call him Milou 🙂

Captain Haddock for us too. (Capitaine Haddock in the original) and you have stuck with the original French name for the dog. Although he’s a male dog, he was named using the nickname of the author’s first girlfriend!
