Pareos for Sale

Pareos for sale in Barcelona,  April 2017

Hex reference: #de5d83

A colourful note:  the Crayola interpretation of the colour of blush is surprisingly robust, an unusual choice for a name that is normally associated with a delicate pink.  The term blush did not appear on Crayola crayons until 2005, when the previous cranberry shade (born in 1998) suddenly became blush, with no explanation and no publicity.

    • Yes, it’s now a well known landmark in this part of Barcelona. It has slight variations in its interpretations, but is believed to honour the Barcelona fishing area of Barcelona, resembling beachside bars and also apartments.
