Venice Carnival in Burano, February 2017
This charming lady brings her fantastic costumes and brilliant personality to Venice every year. It was a pleasure to take her photograph and an even greater pleasure to meet her.

Hex colour reference: #ff496c
A colourful note: this rose-red shade was a new colour for Crayola in 1990, named as radical red, and part of the fluorescent speciality set.

wow! that’s an outfit!! superb image!
Debbie, regarding Bundestag visit, I hope internet registering will be possible again by the time you go there (it wasn’t a week ago). otherwise, you better go early to the register booth cause it takes long (there were cca 20 people in front of us (pfff, nothingi I thought), but still it took half an hour of waiting. on other occassions when we passed there, the queue was quite long and it could have been couple of hours of waiting.

Thank you for that Klara
I had tried to book online for my daughter last summer but couldn’t.
I’m going to have a look right now.

There are many regulars. In fact, I assume the majority of poseurs are regulars. Many from France, and good numbers from Italy, Germany, Austria and Belgium.
