The 40-acre Serpentine lake in London’s Hyde Park takes its name from its snakelike, curving shape, the bendiness of a serpent, although it actually only has one bend.
However, there are a few other curves around to compensate for that missing wiggle!

Hyde Park isn’t a part of London that i go to very often, but I should! Every year I go to a conference on the edge of the park, and usually I just do the boring work bits. But last year a Brazilian colleague told me he walks in the park every morning. So this year I decided to do the same. A lesson learned!
