King’s Cross underground light tunnel, London, October 2017
This 90 metre long pedestrian tunnel at King’s Cross Station is adorned with a lightwave that holds 190 controllable vertical pixels set behind toughened glass. It brightens the walk of rushed commuters, with its coloured lights and smooth outline.
The walls are often used to feature art displays. Back in June, I brought you a quick look at the tunnel with colour images of its black and white Magnum photo display. Ironically, I am now sharing black and white images of its normal colourful walls.
