Day and Night

Day sculpture outside Atocha Station, Madrid, February 2018

The Spanish painter and sculptor, Antonio López García, has his Day and Night work on display outside Atocha Station in Madrid.  These two giant heads are sculptures of one of his grandchildren, when she was just a few days old.  Fast asleep, she represents night; wide awake, she represents day.
