Carnaby Street, London, March 2018
Earth Hour takes place, for an hour, in Spring each year. It started as a symbolic lights out event in Sydney in 2007, and has spread around the world. Coordinated by WWF and other volunteer organisations, it reminds us and sparks conversation, and hopefully action, into saving our earth.
It takes place at 20:30 YOUR time, and the 2019 even will happen on 30 March. More information here.

Well, I am behind as usual … I know the World Wildlife Foundation, but have never heard of Earth Hour – thanks for educating me for next year!

Nobody does banners and events like Carnaby Street. We try and join in with Earth Hour

The following in tongue in cheek, Debbie – my friends invariable tell me something in Europe, where I’ve never heard of. On this side of the ocean there is the island -me-and-myself mentality. It has gotten better. At least I don’t hear anymore “the best in the world” (meaning the world is the country where I live in). But don’t let that refrain you from posting Earth Hour and other international events. At least the ones at All Seasons hear from it:):) Have a lovely week!
Oh, and thank you for your comment on baleful:) Had hubby’s help, who kept shaking his head when I showed him pics, lol.

Ah, woops. Missed it. then again, the kids and I could have an Earth Hour of our own over the Easter holiday. There’s an idea! Thanks for the inspiration and wishing you a happy Easter. #mysundayphoto
