  1. Being a people person I felt sad for the man who had a long workday – till I read the comments above! Sugarloaf reminds me on a bakery, not a pub:) Thanks a bunch for sharing this with All Seasons. (Hope you know you can always make use of your archives!) Have a great week!

    1. i don’t know the origin of the name, but wonder if it’s something to do with the nationality of the owners / managers.
      It is a very small pub and apparently is half of a previously larger pub – there was a big fallout and they chopped the pub in two!

    1. I like Maier’s work and recently saw the documentary about the guy who bought boxes of her photos and helped get them pubbed – and then got sued (is getting sued) byt the family –
      but her work is marvelous – and this post connects to her vibe
