
The Beano is the longest running British children’s comic, published weekly by DC Thomson, making its first appearance on 30 July 1938.

🙂 I remember reading cartoons in the newspaper (anyone remember those?) when I was growing up. My entry comes from a book, but this shot was from a bench in downtown Naperville last summer.
