Mural in Reykjavik, September 2018
I’m afraid I don’t know who this group of people are or who the artist is. It was an interesting mural, but hard to fully appreciate given its location in a small parking area.

If anyone knows the story or artist behind this, do please share in the comments below.

Enjoying street art has become a regular event on my travels around the world: more of my findings can be seen here

Sorry to say this, but they do look like a bit of a rough lot. Maybe looks are deceptive though, and they’re actually quite nice people once you get to know them.

Interesting expressions on the faces and wide eyes on the guy in the middle.

Some of them don’t look very happy! Guessing they want their ciggies and 🍺
Brilliant how you’ve captured it despite the cars

A great mural Debbie, looks like one of those group photos of visiting politicians.
Thanks for contributing.

I wonder… is that a summer-scene?
Former flat-mates went to Reykjavik (say in…. owwww… 1998???) and they loved it despite the cold.

I have no idea who this is – but a few of the details remind me of an artist I have seen before.
Such a unique group shot – I do not love the artist’s style, but appreciate the art – if that makes sense. and I really appreciate how you were able to get side angles and such nice shots – with two cars in the way./
also – the cars add to the vibe of the mural’s setting and so the whole post was enriching – and better than just a single photo – really enjoyed seeing this
