Time for a heroic man of the year

Time Magazine named the Hungarian Freedom Fighter its Man of the Year for 1956, and in January 1957 it featured a fighter image created by Russian-born artist Boris Chaliapin. In 2017, the cover was turned into a giant mural on the streets of Budapest to mark the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian revolution.
