Giant slug by Monster Chetwynd, outside Tate Britain, February 2019

British artist, Monster Chetwynd, was inspired by the mating habits of leopard slugs (thanks to David Attenborough) to create two blue and white LED-illuminated creatures, that adorned the front of Tate Britain this winter.
I only discovered them on the last day of the exhibition, so there’s no current opportunity to see them in person, but you can read more here.

Rather grotesque but they make wonderfully dramatic photos, Debs. 🙂 🙂

It makes me think of the two gardeners, Gary and Nigel, animated as slugs in Creature Comforts.
